Our May 1st Silent Auction and Garage Sale event at the Thurston County Fairgrounds was a great success!!  We took in over $2000.00 for Jessica's fund, including the Auction items, sale of donated garage sale items and free will donations on Jessica's behalf.  Thanks to the faithful, hard-working volunteers who donated many hours of their time for this event!  We had sufficient workers, so it made the whole event alot easier for everybody --Thank you volunteers!  When all monies are deposited, including donation boxes for April, our fund should be around $20,500.00.  We will need only $4500 more by the end of June to qualify for a bonus from COTA at the end of our first year of fundraising. It's been a great year and we are awed by the generosity of our community on behalf of COTA for Jessica Lynn C.   Thanks again to the merchants who contributed items for the auction, to the generous people who bid on those items, to the people who donated all kinds of "good stuff" for the garage sale, and for the radio stations in the area and newspapers that were so willing to give us some help on getting the word out for our event!   Thank you and God Bless you richly for your giving spirit and well wishes for Jessica.   Luci Cross, PR Coordinator for COTA for Jessica Lynn C.
