Quick update on Jessica

Hi everyone,

I am so sorry for not posting on here in such a long time. I am wanting to post a much longer update in the near future but for now I am going to keep this short. Sorry....

Jessica had a really good month of January other than some tummy troubles, but this month is a differant story. Jessica continues to have her tummy troubles they are worse than she has ever had them and now she is pretty sick with what her doctor is saying is possible RSV and viral pneumonia and temperatures as high as  104.2. Her lungs are pretty wet sounding and she has not been able to sleep much in the last few days despite her being exhausted. She has had a little spunk to her which is awesome to see but her energy quickly runs out.  Her chest x-ray today showed quite a bit of stuff in her chest but nothing that is settled to any particular area. This is a good thing in one hand but in the other hand not so good. Her pediatrician started her on antibiotics last night to be cautious and try to get ahead of whatever is causing this thinking that maybe there is a bacterial infection. Her pediatrician has been so awesome with Jessica and tries so hard to stay on top of things as we know with Jessica it doesnt take much for something that is ok to not be ok in a very short period of time.

If you all could please keep Jessica in your thoughts and prayers that would be wonderful. Jessica has the worst times at night and that has been when her fever spikes and her cough is the worst. Last night all she did for hours straight was cry. She felt so miserable and Jeremy and I felt so heart broken that there was nothing more that we could do for her. Other than hold her and help her in any way we could. I am hoping and praying that tonight is better. She needs rest. We all need rest.

Thank you for checking in and once I have a little more time I am planning on writting a very over due update. Until then we thank each and everyone of you for the bottom of our hearts.
