I am so excited that the campaign has raised over 20K! I hope that everyone keeps Jessica in their hearts and remembers that the journey has barely even begun. Raising this money is so important, and I hope that many people will come to events over the summer to support this great cause.

A message to all the supporters of Jessica and family.  As of May 2nd, after our hugely successfull event, I have stepped down as the Campaign Coordinator.  Due to my own busy life I simply needed to be less involved.  I still whole heartedly support Jessica, her family, and this campaign, and will be volunteering as much of my time energy and resources as possible :o)  It was a hard decision to make and it is sad to let go, but hey we are doing awesome.  Let's keep it going and get Jessica the funds she needs!

What a successful event at the Thurston County Fairgrounds last Saturday!   Thank you to all the faithful, hard-working volunteers, who gave up two days+ in their life to help Jessica's cause.  Mel gave us the totals which are super!!  Auction $1166.00;  Garage sale $829.31; and free will donations $136.86.   Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day with lots of people coming out and stopping at our booths.  Thank you to the merchants who donated for the auction, to the generous people who bid, to the people who gave items for the garage sale and those who bought things to take home.  It was a fun, exciting day and we were all thrilled with the outcome!  Mel says, "When this all gets deposited along with the donation boxes from the Month of April, we should be at about $20,500.00.  We will only need $4500 to meet our goal by the end of June to qualify for the extra bonus from COTA!!"  Thank you to everyone from our hearts!   Luci Cross, PR coordinator for COTAforJessicaLynnC.

I want to thank Liza S. for all she has done and continues to do for our campaign.  We received another donation over the weekend from your efforts.  Thank you :o)

I continue to keep Jessica and the family in my heart daily. A lot to take in for sure, but just remember she has gotten this far! Also, one day at a time. A mutual friend of ours has said that 80% of success is showing up! Well, Jessica has definitely got that part down! She is such a trooper. Much love to all of the family

I hear that little Miss Jessica has got a cold.  I hope that it stays just that and doesn't develop into anything else.  All the best wishes for a speedy recovery.  Love you all.

Dear Santa and Kathy: As 2009 comes to a close, the Cross family would like to publicly thank you both for all you have done to not only make Christmas very special for many children, bringing smiles to their precious faces, but also for giving so generously of your time and resources on behalf of COTA for Jessica Lynn C, including the Santa events and also procuring and donating many items for our spring garage sale and silent auction. Words cannot express our gratitude. You are a great encouragement to us, as many in the community have been, and we are thankful and feel blessed. Here's looking toward an exciting 2010 as we prepare events and strive towards our goal of $55,000. We are one-fourth of the way there!! Thanks to you and our surrounding caring community of friends and neighbors!! Thankfully, The Cross Family

To all subscribers of the site: I am so very sorry that you got flooded with e-mails today.  I uploaded pictures to this site for the first time and although they are on the site now, I made a couple of mistakes in the process.  Merry Christmas :o)
